Bert Jarreau

Bert Jarreau is a Professor at the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC). His passion is
teaching and helping others grow. As a “can-do” scholar/practitioner and IT executive with
extensive leadership experience across diverse industries, including non-profit association,
government, and industry (information services, automotive, and real estate), Bert loves
teaching America’s soldiers, marines, airmen, and sailors, and their family members, in the
UMGC MBA program at military installations across Europe. He maintains subject matter
expertise and teaches the following courses: Communicating, Problem Solving and Leading;
Leading Organizations and People; Leading in the Multicultural Global Environment; Innovation
Through Marketing and Technology; and Strategic Decision Making. He has his MBA and Doctor
of Management (DM) degrees from UMGC and his bachelor’s degree in computer science from
the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
