FAIRTIQ is a mobile ticketing application based on check in, check out. Users just have to check in. FAIRTIQ detects the end of the trip and calculates the right fare. FAIRTIQ facilitates pricing tests (e.g. by distance, caps etc.) and special fares by destination and date/time for employers and events, and provides accurate origin-destination data. FAIRTIQ requires no readers or beacons and can be implemented in weeks.
FAIRTIQ is based in Bern (Switzerland) and has nearly 80 employees, including an office in Toronto.
