Angie O'Brien

Angie has served the City of Roanoke, Virginia, for over 22 years. As Deputy City Manager, she oversees a diverse portfolio that includes community development, planning, building and development, human and social services, homeless assistance, parks and recreation, libraries, transit, communications, and community engagement. Angie has overseen a prior portfolio that includes economic development and enterprise systems. She has successfully managed complex projects that drive city growth and enhance community well-being, and she leads strategic initiatives to ensure transformative outcomes for communities.
