Corianne Rice

Director of Entrepreneurship & Economic Development

National League of Cities (NLC)

Corianne Rice is the Director of Entrepreneurship & Economic Development within the Center for Municipal Practice at the National League of Cities. At NLC, Cori oversees operations of technical assistance programs aimed at helping city leaders build more inclusive economies with a particular emphasis on racial and gender equity. Prior to joining NLC, Cori worked in financial services, where she developed and delivered bespoke trainings and workshops for client-facing personnel across the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Australia. She is an executive member of Africa Innovation Network, which convenes various experts to offer sustainable solutions to complex urbanization problems across the continent. Cori enjoys working in the startup space, where she previously managed advocate relations at Civex, a fintech startup whose mission is to increase shareholder engagement in corporate governance. In the past she also led a fellowship for Hometeam Ventures, where she oversaw the research, deal flow and diligence processes of early-stage construction startups.
