Disaster Recovery Architect

Born and Raised in Sinking Spring Pennsylvania, Dave graduated from Bloomsburg University with a BS in Marketing.

Dave spent 32 years at State Farm in Operations Leadership where he also earned his CPCU and ALCM designations Since then, Dave has served as the Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Coordinator at Paycom, and is currently the Disaster Recovery Architect at the City of Tulsa.

Dave served as an adjunct instructor at Indiana State University Department of Insurance & at Oklahoma State University, is a Senior Fellow at the Stephenson Disaster Management Institute at LSU and served 3 terms as the Insurance Industry representative on the Oklahoma Uniform Building Code Commission.

Dave has served as a volunteer for the Institute for Business and Home Safety, as the chairman of the Loss Control Interest Group for the Society of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters, as the national Chair of the Insurance Interest Groups for the Society of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters

He is the founder and former Chair of the Disaster Resistant Business Council – A Public/Private partnership designed to raise Business Continuity Planning awareness and participation with small businesses.
