Lomax Campbell

Founding President & CEO

Dr. Campbell brings two decades of combined experience in small business, higher education, and government administration to professional and civic engagements. His expertise encompasses strategy, general management, marketing, organizational development, ethnic psychology, community wealth building, and change. Some of his major accomplishments include raising or assisting with the development of more than $30M in grants to support community-based workforce and economic initiatives in his hometown of Rochester, New York. Others include designing and overseeing a $3M entrepreneurial ecosystem building and enhancement program and serving as a plan facilitator and subject matter expert under the State of Massachusetts’ $10M Rapid Recovery Planning Program. An anti-racist management scholar-practitioner, he is the founding president and chief executive officer of Third Eye Network, an innovative multicultural marketing and management strategy consortium serving a diverse multisector clientele. He is also the founding chairman of the board for Niche Market Insights Foundation Inc., a 501c3 nonprofit community wealth building agency working to close racial wealth and opportunity gaps. Under his leadership, both organizations operate nationally to advance evidence-based management and promote social transformation across organizations, communities, and systems. Dr. Campbell maintains an active international network evidenced by an assortment of fraternal and professional affiliations. He is an active life member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. with Eta Rho Lambda Chapter, a past master—i.e., former president—of Eureka Lodge No. 36 Prince Hall Affiliated Free and Accepted Masons, and an active member of the Gamma Iota Boulé of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity, Inc. His professional memberships include the Association of Change Management Professionals, Project Management Institute, the Center for Evidence Based Management, Association of Black Psychologists, Community Healing Network, the Society for Kemetic Yoga, and Yoga Alliance. Dr. Campbell’s education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Media Marketing with a concentration in Chinese Language and Culture, and an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He earned a Doctor of Management degree from University of Maryland Global Campus where his dissertation explored, “The strategic importance of cultural fit between organizations and niche-market segments in the 21st century: A systematic review of cultural congruence.” He was also awarded a Certificate of Completion in Leading Economic Growth from Harvard Kennedy School. He is a certified Project Management Professional, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, EMSI Certified in labor market intelligence, and a Certified Kemetic Yoga Teacher. In his personal time, he is an arts and culture enthusiast who enjoys traveling, dancing, cooking, music, and going to the theater. He also enjoys reading, playing billiards, hosting friends and family, Kemetic Yoga, and exercising in his in-home gym.
