I am a consultant, focused on helping local governments navigate through purchasing and implementing software for core functions like ERP, Police and Fire RMS, Permitting and Licensing, Work Order and Asset Management, Utility Billing, FOIA management, and so on.

I also help companies who sell software to government, who need to communicate with and understand the needs of local government.

My experience comes from 10 years as a City IT Director (2013 - 2024) after 20 years as an ERP consultant (1993 - 2013). During that time, I've been through dozens of projects both sides - vendor and customer, and as a City IT Director I've conducted and guided Departments through many procurements.
