Sherrod Davis

Sherrod Davis is a dynamic entrepreneur and tech executive currently serving as the co-founder and CEO of EcoMap Technologies, an ecosystem intelligence platform for economic developers and ecosystem builders. EcoMap uses data and analytics to help drive entrepreneurial success and grow local, state, and regional economies.

Since joining EcoMap in 2021 as COO, Davis has played a pivotal role in the company's growth. Under his leadership, EcoMap has developed its Ecosystem Intelligence Platform, which uses AI technology to centralize and update critical information about ecosystem components. This platform enables rapid understanding of ecosystem dynamics and provides personalized guidance to entrepreneurs at various stages of their journey.

Prior to EcoMap, Davis co-founded AdWap, an ad tech platform focused on charitable fundraising. He also held leadership roles at TrackOFF, a data privacy startup that was acquired by Avast Software in 2019, and Protenus, a series D health tech startup that was recently acquired by Bluesight.

Davis is deeply committed to advancing the tech ecosystem. He co-founded a coalition focused on transforming his hometown into a hub for diverse tech professionals and serves on the boards of Retrain America and Code in the Schools. His contributions to the tech community have earned him recognition, including being named a ‘Best in Tech’ Executive and ‘40 Under 40’ leader by the Baltimore Business Journal.
