Zach Schwartz

Mr. Schwartz is currently leading the technology team for Events DC which is the premier host of conventions, entertainment, sporting, and cultural events in the nation’s capital. Venues include the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Nationals Park (Baseball), Entertainment & Sports Arena (Basketball), RFK, and several other great locations.

Mr. Schwartz was formally a senior advisor to the Secretary of Commerce and acting CIO for her office. He led efforts to bring the travel and tourism industry back to pre-pandemic levels and drive the safe return to office for nearly 50k staff.

Prior to main Commerce, Mr. Schwartz served in various leadership roles at US Census Bureau including as the lead for the 2020 Census Trust & Safety Team.
